our story
Managing Director and Founder, Trish Botha is a proud Australian and a descendant of the Kanak and Aboriginal communities. Inspired by her great uncle Eddie Mabo’s pioneering work in Indigenous recognition, Trish has dedicated her career to fostering real economic development and investment opportunities for ATSI entrepreneurs and women-led start-up companies. This is Trish’s story and the story of the Arise team of problem solvers, who share her passion for ending poverty and creating generational wealth for every Australian.
MEET TRISH
Trish Botha is an accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in the community/economic development sector. She holds a Master of Business Administration, a BA in Intercultural Ministry, and a Cert IV in Teaching and Assessment.
Trish brings expertise in cultural translation to government practices both nationally and internationally. She has been part of successful aid projects performed across the Asia-Pacific and Africa.
Trish was the co-founder and CEO of a not-for-profit, providing management and strategic leadership expertise. The role included programme development work with indigenous communities seeking to increase sectors such as education, employment and the economic sector. More recently, Trish has been involved in both Federal and State Government processes, enabling her to understand the generational complexities of Australia's governance framework and bring practical solutions for clients.
